As a trained artist, Briana uses her background in fine art to focus on content marketing pieces and user experience analysis for our clients. She works tirelessly to ensure that our clients are maximizing their visual appeal for their customers and promoting content that is useful, engaging, and entertaining.

When Briana isn’t working for Smarter Searches, she’s either working on building her own fine art and craft businesses, the next DIY project, or out hiking with her husband.

Fun fact: My life used to be all about softball. I came to Tennessee from Washington State on a Division I softball scholarship to East Tennessee State University. During my four year “career,” I was the 2nd baseman and an outfielder, a team captain, an offensive and academic MVP, and had two, over-the-fence, home runs. I was also the head varsity softball coach at the Washington State high school from which I graduated.
Favorite social media: Pinterest: I love the visual exchange of ideas and projects, as well as the ability to visually “bookmark” them for later. Instagram is also pretty amazing.
Where can we find you when you’re not working? I’m either at home creating mixed media fine art pieces and other crafty things, hiking somewhere in the Smokies, or planning my next adventure.
What would be impossible to give up? I’m an emotional sap, so it’s loved ones…for all the obvious reasons. However, I also love pie, clothes, handmade goods, and the ability to hike somewhere to see the beauty around us.
What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients? Evaluating websites for visual aesthetics, content, and the overall user experience. Through these recommendations and well-researched blogging content, I aim to make a website more engaging for users.
What excites you about your work and the contribution you make? I love how the individual, honest, and thorough contributions of our small team can make a large impact on a website and its ability to gain a stronger web presence. Assessing websites, building content, blogging, and creating social media posts for businesses is especially satisfying when I discover the unique qualities of a business’ services or products, as well as the ways in which that business works hard to do the right thing. Ultimately, it’s gratifying work when our contributions support a quality business.
